PACK 160 UPCOMING EVENTS
May Pack Meeting - Campout & Campfire
Friday, May 19th 5pm - Saturday, May 20th morning (Requires a responsible adult in attendance for campout) for all Registered Scouts.
Camp Carpenter, 300 Blondin Rd, Manchester, NH (Kiwanis campsite, near Archery)
Dinner and breakfast provided by pack
Each den has a role in the campfire program, skits, jokes, etc. (we will try to have a Star Party)
Each den has rank requirements for learning about camping with our space themed campout. Great time to camp as a family, with lots of support!
Families bring their own tents, sleeping bags, clothes, binoculars, telescopes etc. (Let us know if you need to borrow anything.)
Medical forms A and B required for all participants.
Welcome to stay on Saturday for the free options of hiking, walking, cooking, etc. If you would like to participate in the open program please pre-register through www.experiencebasecamp.org to take part in their Archery, BBs and more for Saturday. The base camp program is $20 per person or free with an Adventure Card.
Fill out form once per scout (please add the total number of additional family members attending to your oldest Cub in the program's registration)
Chuckwagon Derby
Saturday June 3rd, 8a – 12p event, with optional camping nights June 2nd and/or June 3rd. (Requires a responsible adult in attendance for campout) for all Registered scouts.
Location Address: Wassaman Park, 116 Naticook Rd, Merrimack, NH 03054
$4 per scout, bring a bag lunch. Camping free, $5-$15 for additional meals (TBD).
In a Chuckwagon Derby, the scouts pull a big wooden covered wagon down a path to a lot of fun stations. At these stations, they can show off what they know using teamwork and Scout Spirit. It’s a friendly competition with other packs.
This weekend is part of a large Scout camporee event for the 5th-12th grade Scouts BSA Troops and Venture Crews.

Clark’s Bears Scouting
Clark's Bears in Lincoln, NH is proud to host the Cub Scout Adventure Days Program. Cub Scouts from Tigers to Webelos will have a day of learning and fun! June 4th or June 17th events for all Registered Scouts.

June Pack Meeting – Advancement Ceremony
Tuesday night, June 13th 6:30pm, Triumphant Cross, 171 Zion Hill Rd, Salem, NH
Cub Scouts should complete all the requirements for their current rank by June 6th (if possible, please complete by the end of May).
If all the requirements are done, they will earn the rank patch for this year to put next to their Bobcat rank patch.
At this pack meeting, they will advance to the next rank:
Lion → Tiger → Wolf → Bear → Webelos → Arrow of Light
Over the summer, they can start working on adventures for their new rank!
NH Fisher Cats Scout Night
For extra fun, Scout Night at the NH Fisher Cats baseball game.
Friday, June 16, game time 7:05pm. After the game, Scouts with tickets to the game and their families can camp out in the stadium (optional), out of the stadium by 7:30am Saturday morning). Space is limited, so register early!
Food is available at the concession stands inside the stadium. Tickets are $12 each, and can be purchased by families directly through the Daniel Webster Council's event form, here:

Bottle Rockets
June 28th We will be launching 2L bottle rockets using water and air pressure. See what design you can make and how well it flies at this fun local event! More details coming soon.
Summer pack activities
Scouting is all year! Pack 160 likes to run at least 2-3 activities a month during June, July, and August, instead of regular weekly den meetings. Activities range from kickball, capture the flag, hikes, and geocaching to field trips and campouts. Is there somewhere you want to take the pack or something your Cub Scout wants to do together? Summer Camp
Pack 160 will attend resident summer camp, which for 2023 is from Sunday July 16th through Thursday June 20th. Current 2022-2023 program year Pack 160 Scouts, with the exception of the Arrow of Light den, are eligible for attending resident camp. Current Webelos (current 4th graders) have the option of staying one extra night on Thursday, July 20th for a special event.
Tiger scouts must have an adult parent attending with them. If the scout is a staying for the optional Bridge Program, the additional night is $65.
BSA Medical forms (Parts A, B, and C) are required. Please note Part C does require a doctor's signature so plan ahead! Medical forms will be submitted through an online portal this year. Details TBD.
