Pack 160 Upcoming Events

As we head into November, we’re kicking off two important service projects:

🛒 Scouting for Food and ✉️ 10,000 for the Troops!

Here’s how Scouting for Food will work:

🗓️ Saturday, November 1st – Door Hanger Distribution

📍 Meet Ms. Cindy at the Fire Station on Main Street, Salem, NH

🕘 Between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM

👉 You’ll pick up your location map and door hangers, then head out to your assigned neighborhood. Please hang a tag on each front door (except those marked “No Soliciting”).

🗓️ Saturday, November 8th – Food Collection Day

📍 Visit Ms. Cindy again at the Fire Station on Main Street

🕘 Between 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM to pick up your collection map

🥫 Collect the filled food bags from your neighborhood and return them to the fire station by 12:00 PM.

All food collected will be donated to multiple food pantries throughout Salem, directly supporting families in our community.

✨ Each Scout who participates will complete one of their required service adventures.

Here’s how 10,000 for the Troops will run:
Please print out one (or a few!) of the 10,000 for the Troops cards, fold in half and have your Scout(s) write a short, kind message to a service member. They should sign with first name only, include their Den level, and write Pack 160, Salem NH at the bottom.

Scouts can also color and decorate their cards to make them extra special! Once completed, cards can be dropped off in one of two ways:

🧤 To Ms. Ann in the big blue snowman box in front of the house at 11 Observatory Road, Methuen by Friday 10/31, or

🚪 To Ms. Cindy when you pick up your Scouting for Food maps and door hangers this Saturday 11/1

✨ Each Scout who participates will complete one of their required citizenship adventures.

Our Pack 160 Wreath Fundraiser is in full swing! This is a great way to support our Scouts while spreading some holiday cheer — and it’s easy to share with family and friends near or far.

For local pickup orders, please include the Scout(s) name(s) you are supporting in the gift message section so we can give credit properly in their Scoutbucks. Pickup orders need to be placed by November 9th. After this date you can still order wreaths with the direct ship option through December 1st.

We’ll be picking up wreaths on Saturday, November 29th (morning), and they’ll be ready for local pickup in Methuen around 3:00 PM that afternoon. We will send out the pickup address once the arrive locally.

🚚 Not Local? No Problem!

If you're a supporter who lives farther away, you can order from the Ship-to-Home Catalog. Items from that catalog can be shipped directly to your home for an additional cost and will still support your scouts journey!

This is always one of the most magical nights of the year—bring your holiday spirit and your families for an evening full of fun and celebration!
