·       Car Registration is open Noon - 1:00 pm

·       Races start at 1:15 pm

·       Pizza available starting at noon. No charge for pizza thanks to our fantastic

         popcorn  sales! Cheese or Pepperoni

·       Car check-in will be in the corner near the large TV set.

·       Graphite for lubricating wheels will be available at check in.

For those attending Summer Camp, the $100 deposit is due at the Derby.

Meal Train for the Moss Family

Volunteers Needed!  Our scouting friends, the Moss family, are going through a very tough time.  Their family recently learned that Weston has bone cancer and will need aggressive treatments to give him a fighting chance.

The Moss family have been amazing members of the Salem community. They constantly volunteer their time, especially in Scouts . Please help this amazing family get through this hard time and their sweet Scout Weston have the medical care he needs with his Mother by his side! Any help with dinners would help their family immensely as they get Weston to and from his treatments with ease.

About the event

"I Am One With The FORCE" Chuckwagon Derby

The rebranded "I Am One With The Force" Chuckwagon Derby is open to all Cub Scout ranks. A wagon-team of 5-8 Padawan Scouts navigates their star-fighter (wagon) from planet to planet (station to station) while demonstrating different skills. This is a competitive derby! Scouts to work together as a team, use their Cub Scout skills, and show Scouting Spirit! They must use THE FORCE! Each wagon must be accompanied by two Jedi (adult leaders). Medals will be awarded to the top 3 wagons.

Summer Camp 2024

Our Summer Camp week will be here before we know it!  Our Scouts head out to Camp Carpenter from Sunday, July 21 - Thursday, July 25  this year and we can't wait for the adventure!

If you are planning on sending your scout to Summer Camp, please make sure to have your $100 deposit at the Pinewood Derby and sign your scout up below!  Scouts entering 2nd - 5th grade this fall may be registered to attend on their own while our scouts entering 1st grade in the upcoming school year, may attend with a parent.

Scouts will arrive on Sunday mid-day for check-in, safety reviews, photos and campsite setup

Our Pack travels around the camp together and Camp staff leads most activity areas, pack leaders help the pack.  There are fabulous Camp Activities all week, free time and evening programs, too. We sleep in the camp’s tents, and eat 3 meals a day in the dining hall.

The Pack will leave on Thursday evening, but our oldest Cubs have an optional extra night, and can leave Friday at noon.

Cost $580 for scouts if deposit and final payment are on time. $100 deposit due at Pinewood Derby on March 17, 2024. Final payment due by May 18th. $25 late fee will need to be added if either date is missed.

USE SCOUT BUCKS EARNED DURING THE POPCORN SALE TO OFFSET THE COST OF CAMP. There will also be an additional fundraiser announced in February with proceeds going towards your scout’s camp fees! Stay tuned for details.

BSA Medical forms (Parts A, B, and C) are required.  Please note Part C does require a doctor's signature so plan ahead!  If you submitted parts A, B1 and B2 to your Den, you will only need to add Part C to the paperwork.

Day Camp Options are also available!

Not sure your Scout is ready for Resident Camp?  Try the Day Camp option as an individual scout.

Scouts attend as individuals, one week or multiple weeks, The pack does not coordinate this camp adventure.  It's a classic day camp, lots of camp areas, staffed by the wonderful camp staff.

Monday - Friday daily drop off 8:30am - 4:00pm pickup, lunch in the dining hall is included. We encourage asking a friend to go the same week. Cost $340.
