Outings Chair
π Plans and organizes outdoor activities like hikes, campouts, and service outings
π Coordinates event logistics (dates, locations, permits, transportation, gear, etc.)
π§ Ensures outings align with BSA safety guidelines and youth protection policies
π§βπ³ Arranges food, supplies, and activity materials for camping trips and day events
π£ Communicates outing details to families, leaders, and Scouts
π οΈ Works with other leaders to assign roles and ensure supervision and safety
π Promotes participation and enthusiasm for outdoor adventures
π· Helps capture and share highlights from events for newsletters or social media
Lion Den Leader
π¦ Leads monthly den meetings and activities for Lion Scouts and their adult partners
π Coordinates with the Pack leadership to stay aligned with the Cub Scout calendar
π Prepares simple, age-appropriate activities using the Lion Den Leader Guide
π¨βπ©βπ¦ Encourages family involvement in all den activities
π Creates a fun, welcoming environment for new Scouts and families
ποΈ Tracks advancement and helps Lions earn their adventure stickers and Lion badge
πββοΈ Communicates regularly with parents about upcoming meetings and events
π§ Introduces basic Scouting values through fun and engaging activities
Lion Assistant Den Leader(s)
Assists the Lion Den Leader with the above tasks.
Tiger Den Leader
π― Leads or coordinates two den meetings per month and occasional outings
π¨βπ©βπ¦ Works closely with adult partners, encouraging shared leadership and family involvement
π Uses the Tiger Den Leader Guide to plan fun, age-appropriate adventures
ποΈ Introduces Scouts to new skills, teamwork, and basic Scouting values
π Communicates regularly with families about meetings, events, and achievements
ποΈ Tracks and records advancement as Scouts complete requirements toward the Tiger badge
π€ Collaborates with the Cubmaster and pack leadership to support pack-wide events and activities
π Creates a positive, welcoming environment that keeps Tigers excited and engaged
Tiger Assistant Den Leader(s)
Assists the Tiger Den Leader with the above tasks.
Bear Den Leader
π» Plans and leads regular den meetings and outings for 3rd grade Bear Scouts
π Follows the Bear Den Leader Guide to deliver engaging, hands-on adventures
π― Teaches Scouts more advanced skills like first aid basics, tool safety, and outdoor know-how
ποΈ Prepares Scouts for Webelos-level responsibilities through fun and teamwork
π Communicates with families about meeting schedules, events, and progress
ποΈ Tracks each Scoutβs advancement toward earning the Bear badge
π€ Works with the Cubmaster and pack committee to support pack events and activities
π Creates a supportive and exciting environment that encourages independence and confidence
Bear Assistant Den Leader(s)
Assists the Bear Den Leader with the above tasks.
Webelos Assistant Den Leader(s)
Assists the Webelos Den Leader with the below tasks.
π½ Leads den meetings and outdoor activities for 4th grade Webelos Scouts
π Uses the Webelos Den Leader Guide to plan and teach adventure-based requirements
ποΈ Introduces Scouts to outdoor skills like camping, hiking, and fire safety
π― Helps Scouts develop leadership and independence as they prepare for Scouts BSA
ποΈ Tracks progress toward the Webelos rank and other elective adventures
π¨βπ©βπ§ Engages families and encourages Scout-led activities and responsibility
π€ Coordinates with the Cubmaster and pack leaders to support pack events and crossover planning
ποΈ Encourages participation in overnight campouts and troop visitations

Committee Chair
π§ Leads the Pack/Troop Committee and oversees overall program support
π Schedules and runs committee meetings, ensuring effective planning and follow-through
π€ Recruits and supports adult volunteers for key roles and leadership positions
β Ensures the unit follows BSA policies and maintains a safe, organized program
π¬ Acts as the main link between the chartered organization, council, and unit leadership
πΌ Supports budget planning, fundraising, and resource management
π Helps coordinate advancement, membership, and recognition efforts
π£ Promotes a positive culture of communication, teamwork, and Scout spirit
Assistant Cubmaster
Assists the Cubmaster with the below tasks.
π» Leads and emcees monthly pack meetings, creating fun and engaging experiences for Scouts and families
π Plans the overall Cub Scouting program with the help of den leaders and the committee
ποΈ Encourages participation in pack events, campouts, service projects, and council activities
π£οΈ Acts as the face of the pack, inspiring enthusiasm and Scout spirit
π€ Supports and mentors den leaders, providing guidance and coordination
π£ Communicates regularly with families about events, expectations, and opportunities
ποΈ Leads advancement and recognition ceremonies, celebrating Scout achievements
β Ensures the pack follows BSA guidelines and youth protection policies
Treasurer
π° Manages the unitβs finances, including bank accounts and budgets
π§Ύ Tracks income and expenses from dues, fundraisers, and events
π Prepares and presents regular financial reports to the committee
π¦ Helps manage payments and reimbursements for supplies, activities, and registrations
π³ Maintains accurate financial records and receipts for transparency
πΌ Assists with annual budget planning and monitors spending
π Works with the Committee Chair and Popcorn Kernel on fundraising goals and tracking
β Ensures the unit follows BSA and chartered organization financial guidelines
Assistant Popcorn Kernel
Assists the Popcorn Kernel with the below tasks.
πΏ Supports the Popcorn Kernel in planning and running the annual popcorn fundraiser
π¦ Helps organize product pickup and distribution to Scouts and families
π Assists with tracking sales, collecting orders, and managing inventory
π¬ Communicates with families about sales tips, deadlines, and prize information
π‘ Promotes the fundraiser through signs, social media, and pack/troop events
π Helps tally sales and ensure accurate reporting to the council
π Encourages Scout participation and celebrates their sales success
