Product Sales Fundraiser
The popcorn sales fundraiser is our primary fundraiser for the scouting year. This money covers our annual plans (pack meetings and awards) and helps scouts cover the costs of scouting (registration fees, camping costs, etc).
Camperships and spring fundraisers are available to those needing a little extra help in getting to camp. In order to qualify, scouts must show that they have participated in the popcorn sale fundraiser to help earn their way.
On average, the cost for a unit to run an effective program breaks down to ~$280/scout. For us, this equals ~$700 in popcorn sales per registered scout (assumes 30 scouts)

There are 3 ways to sell:
1) Selling Online
This is the best way to sell to your friends and family who live out of town. You can send emails to your customers asking them to purchase Trail's End products online. Your customers click on the link in your email and can begin shopping right away. They order products online and pay with a credit card, and Trail's End ships the products directly to your customers. Scouts will earn a higher commission in Scoutbucks from online sales - sales do not count towards prize selection. Set up your scout's on line account here.
2) Show and Sell
Our pack gets permission to sell in front of a retail store or in the local mall. You set up a display with products for people to purchase as they walk by. We will have plenty of popcorn on display for customers to buy. Remember, always say "Thank you and have a nice day".
3) Take Orders - August 1st to October 17th
This is the most traditional way to sell; going door-to-door with the take order form, which you receive from your leader or council. Your customer chooses the product(s) he or she wishes to buy and writes the order on your form. You will collect the money at time of order and deliver the product in November. Don't forget, parents can take the order forms to work! Checks should be made out to PACK 160.
